The 7mm Mauser or 7 x 57mm or .275 Rigby was created in 1893 as a military cartridge in Spain. Although no longer a military round it is still a popular sporting calibre due to its flat trajectory, relatively low recoil and good penetrating ability. Cufflink created from a recycled polished brass case head (rim, extractor groove and portion of cartridge body) of the 7mm Mauser round. Cufflink measuring 12.1mm diameter by 3mm depth set on gold plated solid arm (24mm overall length).
